Finally back from OBS. 4 days there was seriously a killer. Mosquito must have enjoyed their stay with us sucking out blood when they feel like as for us we were like hunters smacking them like mad.
First day of OBS. The start of an adventure, a challenge to survive and a moral to learn. We did kayaking and distributed out our happy meal that would hopefully last us for the next three days. Settled down and started preparing dinner and setting up of tents. Failed to sleep.
Did our land expedition and it was a killer. Trekked from Camp 2 to Camp 3. Was rewarded with a jump in a river and it was cooling as we soaked ourselves in the clear and clam river. Failed to sleep again. It was just too hot for me. Did century and it was fun.
Did our sea expedition. The insanity of kayaking 8km under the hot sun. Had fun kayaking as Ying Ning and I raced with Sean and Adam. We threw food here and there trading with each other as we kayaked to our destination. Zhong Han called me a "kia su" person for bringing a SPH 130 sunblock but he was the one that is "kia su" to use it and still denying that he is not one after being called as one. Cooked our own last and final dinner with extra ingredients. It tasted not bad. Managed to sleep. Finally. =)
Cleaned up our store and did some reflection. Ferry back and bushed back to school. Slept all the way as i was far too tired.
Without Ying Ning, Siti, Kelly, Adam, Yu Jin, Sean, Chen Shun, Samuel, Rydell, Zhong Han, Mitchell, Hui Hui and Pei Ying, I can't imagine how lifeless my OBS trip would be. Thanks for all the fun, laughter and encouragement given.
